The Roost Consignment Home & The Roost Consignment Boutique (The Roost) reserves the right to accept and decline any item brought in to sell. All items brought in for resale must be clean & laundered, without wrinkles, stains, tears, pilling, chipping, cracks and dust. Items must be in desirable condition and quality for resale. Please note a $5 fee will be deducted from the consignors account if The Roost has to steam or clean an excessive amount of items brought in by the consignor.

A maximum of 40 items will be accepted per appointment. All items will be cataloged and numbered with a consignor ID number and stock number. The Roost is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of any consigned item. The Roost will donate or dispose of any item(s) that are brought in in less than satisfactory selling condition.

Consignors may check their account online anytime at the consignor access portal – theroost.consignoraccess.com. Consignors may pick-up their money anytime during business operating hours. A check can be mailed if requested.

Consignors are responsible for keeping track of their own items expiration date and returns. Consignors must give 24 hour notice if they want to pick up expired items.
The Roost will not hold items past expiration dates unless other arrangements have been made.

Furniture/Home Goods

-The Roost agrees to pay the consignor 50% of the selling price for furniture if delivered to the store by the consignor. 

-The Roost agrees to pay the consignor 45% of the selling price for any furniture The Roost is hired to pick-up for the seller.

-The Roost agrees to pay the consignor 40% of the selling price for home goods and decor.

-Furniture and home goods will be discounted over a 45, 75 and 100 day period by 15%, 25% and 40%.

All furniture and home goods will be on the floor for sale for a 120 day period.

Clothing / Accessories / Jewelry

The Roost agrees to pay the consignor 40% of the selling price for all clothing, accessories and jewelry items sold.

All clothing, accessories and jewelry will be kept on the sales floor for a 75 day period.

These items will be discounted over a 30, 45, and 65 day period by 15%, 25% and 40%.

The Roost is not responsible for loss or displaced items dropped off without an appointment.

Please note we do not take items on consignment for a shorter period than the time frame specified above unless other arrangements have been made.
