February & March Updates at the Roost

The seasons are shifting, and so are we.

As we move through February and March, we’re beginning the transition into spring. That means we are now accepting spring clothing and accessories. Lighter layers, soft knits, denim jackets, flowy tops, handbags, fresh jewelry — if it feels like sunshine and longer days, we want to see it.

We will continue our winter hours of Wednesday through Saturday through the end of March. Then, beginning April 1st, we return to our full six-day schedule to welcome the busy season ahead.

April Through July: Summer Is Calling

Starting in April, we’ll begin accepting summer clothing and accessories — and we’ll continue taking them in through the end of July. That gives you plenty of time to go through those closets and bring in the pieces you’re no longer reaching for.

Think breezy dresses, sandals, linen, beachy layers, bold color, woven bags, statement sunglasses. If it belongs at a patio dinner, lakeside gathering, or summer concert, it belongs at The Roost.

However, here’s the important part:

We book out.

Our consignment calendar fills quickly, especially during seasonal transitions. We strongly encourage you to plan ahead and schedule early so your items hit the floor at just the right time. A little planning goes a long way — and the earlier your items arrive, the better they sell.

Home Decor & Outdoor Furniture

It’s also time to start digging out those garages and storage spaces.

Before spring fully arrives, bring in your outdoor furniture and patio pieces. Shoppers are already dreaming about backyard dinners, porch lounging, and fresh-air entertaining. Pieces are moving quickly — and getting them in early gives them the best chance to sell at top value.

We are also looking for seasonal spring and summer home décor:

  • Light, airy accents
  • Coastal and cottage-inspired pieces
  • Outdoor entertaining items
  • Fresh wall art and mirrors
  • Planters and garden décor
  • Bright textiles and pillows

If it makes a space feel open, warm, and ready for guests, we want it on our floor.

Why Consign Now?

Items are moving fast — especially furniture and well-timed seasonal pieces. Many items are selling within the same week they arrive.

Consigning is a simple way to:

  • Clear space in your home
  • Refresh your style
  • Earn extra cash
  • Or shop your earnings and redecorate for nearly free

It’s a full-circle kind of magic. You bring in what you’re no longer using, someone else falls in love with it, and you walk away with something new (or a little cash in your pocket).
